Overview

Renewed Minds was established in October of 2011. The name is based on Romans 12:2 (NIV) above. Renewed Minds is headed by members Mark and Kim Burnette. Mark and Kim have been planting and facilitating support groups as well as educating people with a mental illness and their families for many years. They both had a heartfelt desire to begin a ministry within a church that would put Christ into the center of recovery and focus on scripture as a way to cope with mental illness in one's life

Byne Church agreed that this would be a ministry they would like to support and be a part of. We now have a support group that meets twice a month and will continue to build this ministry throughout the year. Stay tuned as we inform you about new events and offerings! Welcome to our blog! After years of trying to find a church that would support a ministry such as this, our church Byne Memorial Baptist Church has wholeheartedly supported establishing this ministry in our church. Our church says that we are here to love God and others, and others includes everyone.
